 Sadly, I have just heard that David Guymer has passed away recently. 

 As you may know, the scoring system crashed after 17 boards on Thursday evening (28th).    The scores at that point are shown on the website. Sorry, but without the scorecards,

 Sorry, but we cannot present last night's results. The scoring system let us down.

 Although the 2nd of June is a Bank Holiday, we will be playing on that date !!!

 We will not be playing on the 5th May. Somebody wants to hold elections in the room.

 

UKRAINE SIM. PAIRS - RESULTS

We raised a splendid £142.50 on the evening, so thank you all!!

 The Club will be holding a Simultaneous Pairs Event, in support of the people of the Ukraine, on 14th April.   Please come along, with plenty of money, for a 7.00 p.m. start

Visitors are very welcome.

 

We have decided to have a handicap prize based on the results achieved over the first quarter of 2020.  Here are the resuts :

 

The club would prefer people to continue to wear facecoverings, at least for the time being.

We would like to thank David P. for all the work he has done over the years for the club in this respect.

We will be pressing the caretaker to elevate the heating in the room on Thursday evenings in the future. Hopefully, we will be more comfortable in the future.
